Title: ACT: From targets to action - public responses to climate policy instruments
Funder: Center for International Climate Research (CICERO), Norway
Dates: 2017 - 2020

This project will establish the first scientifically based annual survey tracking Norwegians’ attitudinal and behavioral responses to climate policy instruments, including social and cultural dimensions such as beliefs, values and norms. SERI will work in close collaboration with Norwegian and other European scholars to develop, deploy, and analyze the survey results. The work will create new knowledge about the connections between politics, environment and society. The primary objective is to provide Norwegian and other societies with recommendations for policy instruments that enable transition to a low‐emission society.
